Opis mesta: Москва or in translation Moskva is a Russian name for the capital of Russia - Moscow. A city of more then 10 million people, know to everyone on the planet has been a center of attention since mid 19th century for its political changes, coups, revolutions, during the World War II within reach of German (Nazi) forces but endured. It is positioned on Moskva river West of the Ural mountains which means it is officialy in Europe. Some of the most famous places in Moscow are:

- the Kremlin
- Izmaylovsky Park
- Sokolniki Park
- Tsytsin Main Botanical Garden of Academy of Sciences
- All-Russian Exhibition Centre
- Tretyakov Gallery
- Red Square and many more.

The city is dividen into ten administrative so called okrugs and 123 districts. It has one major. The city was founded in the 12th century and build in a medieval urban principal by building a circual wall around the city which then expanded as the inner city expanded. Some of the boundaries were the walls of Kremlin, Zemlyanoy Gorod (earthwork town), the Kamer-Kollezhsky Rampart, the Garden Ring, and the small railway ring.

Today Moscow is a modern and advanced city visited by tens of thousands of tourist annualy.

How to travel to Moscow? There are four major airports in the area. Sheremetyevo International Airport, Domodedovo International Airport, Vnukovo International Airport, Bykovo Airport which is the smalles of the four mentioned.

Airlines that fly into the capital: Aeroflot is a national carrier, British Airways, Delta Airlines, Lufthansa, BMI, Aegan Airlines, Air Berlin, Blue Bird, Iberia, Niki, Etihad, Emirates, Cathay Pacific and many more.

There is also a rail transport which connects Asia with Europe via Trans-Siberian Railway from Beijing, Ulaanbaatar and Vladivostok.
